Collection of plum varieties

Finca La Orden has a collection of 50 varieties of Japanese plum dating back from 2013. These come from five different improvement programs with pollination and ripening times spreading across the entire production schedule of this fruit tree. Annual data on phenology, ripening and fruit characteristics are taken from this collection, as well as production and varietal compatibility information. In this collection, there are varieties that have been traditionally grown until now and recently introduced varieties, as well as varieties that at present can be considered obsolete but have a pollination potential for other current varieties.
