Workshop Figgen Project. 5th July 2023 (Sede de INTAEX. Avenida Adolfo Suárez, s/n. BADAJOZ)

The Workshop "Valorising the diversity of the fig tree, an ancient fruit crop for sustainable Mediterranean agriculture: the PRIMA project “FIGGEN” will be held in the Auditorium of Instituto Tecnológico Agroalimentario de Extremadura (CICYTEX-INTAEX). Avenida Adolfo Suárez s/n - 06007 Badajoz, 05th July 2023, 09:00 – 14:00 (CET – Spanish time).

The workshop will be organised as a hybrid event (both on-site and on-line). The participation is free, but the registration is mandatory.

FIGGEN is a three-year project promoted by PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) programme supported by the European Union. The ambition is to make the fig tree one of the most suitable and profitable crop in the Mediterranean area in a climate change context.

El Workshop Valorización de la diversidad de la higuera, cultivo frutal milenario para una agricultura mediterránea sostenible: el proyecto PRIMA "FIGGEN" se celebrará en el Auditorio del Instituto Tecnológico Agroalimentario de Extremadura (INTAEX- CICYTEX). Se trata de un evento híbrido (presencial y online con traducción simultánea al español e inglés)

La participación es gratuita pero la inscripción es obligatoria.

FIGGEN es un proyecto con una duración de tres años impulsado por el programa PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) financiado por la Unión Europea. Su principal objetivo es potenciar la higuera como uno de los cultivos más adaptados y sostenibles en la cuenca mediterránea en un contexto de cambio climático global.
